Sweet Are the Uses of Adversity
The saying is loaded with realism and wisdom. It brings home to the reader a vital philosophy of life that life is relentless struggle. However, a true warrior, in spite of many challenges and hiccups, fights the heavy odd and never gives up, come what may. In other words a heroic person is always ready to face adversity, as he is well aware of the fact that one day; he will be able to surmount all the challenges and will reap the sweet fruits of success.
Indeed, adversity, misfortune and other issues make a man nervous and at times weaken his resolve. However, a true hero makes the best of his failures and learns from his mistakes with a positive attitude of trying again and again until he reaches his destination. At last he becomes successful and enjoys every from then onwards.
History is replete with examples of great warriors, prophets, scientists, and poets etc, who took embraced adversity with both hands. They learned from their bad experiences and failures. They faced the odd and challenging situations with self-control, valor and perseverance. The living example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is before us. He defeated the mighty rulers of Makkah, with his unflinching resolve and determination. At the start of his diving Mission, he had to face many obstacles and opposition.
However, he never gave up, despite heavy odds and at last it was because of his dedication and commitment that the religion of Islam spread through but Arabia with a few years. This was the moment when he was fully satisfied with his endeavors and enjoyed the heavy uses of odds that befell him his Mission. Thus nobody can deny the veracity in the statement that sweet are the uses of adversity.
